Attach a collection or a product to each card. The picture, the name and the link then come from Shopify, and a card cannot end up pointing at something that has been deleted or renamed. The text fields are overrides — leave them empty unless you want the card to read differently from the collection.

This posts into Shopify's own customer list, not into a mail app's embed. That means the address survives you changing email tools, and the double opt-in setting under Settings → Notifications → Customer applies to it. If you use Klaviyo or similar, connect it to Shopify rather than replacing this form.

The consent line has to stay, and it has to be true. A European or UK visitor has to know what they are signing up for before they hand over the address, and "unsubscribe in one click" has to actually be one click in the emails you send. Edit the pages it links to — do not weaken the promise.

If you promise a discount here, the code has to arrive. An incentive that does not land is the single fastest way to a chargeback and a Trading Standards complaint. Set the welcome email up first, then write the promise.

Everyone who subscribes gets the tag newsletter-pdp, so you can tell page signups apart from checkout ones later.
